Turbojet Engine Works
|
Turbojet Engine Works specialises in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of micro gas turbine engines typically used in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and remotely piloted vehicles (RPVs).
It is home to the largest known private collection of micro gas turbine engines—some of which can be viewed on the Virtual Museum page—ranging from early “home-brew” KJ-66 engines to today’s high-tech, state-of-the-art designs developed over the past two decades. The collection also includes numerous other jet-related artefacts, which will be gradually added to the Virtual Museum page. The flagship of the jet engine collection is an iconic de Havilland Goblin Mk 3 engine, previously flown in a de Havilland Vampire jet aircraft and painstakingly restored to stunning condition. |
